About the event
What if the Church became one of the safest places to talk about mental health?
The Sanctuary Course for Catholics is an 8-week small group experience designed to open the door to honest, faith-filled conversations around mental health. In a world where anxiety, stress, and overwhelm are increasingly common, this course offers a space to be known, supported, and encouraged—together.
Through engaging video sessions, real stories, and meaningful small group discussion, you’ll explore how God, Scripture, and the Church speak into the realities of mental health. Topics include mental health and mental illness, stigma, recovery, self-care, and how to walk alongside others with compassion.
This is a judgment-free, confidential environment—no pressure to share, and no homework.
Your registration includes a workbook and the accompaniment of licensed clinical mental health counselor, Liz Pusateri, who brings both professional expertise and a faith-based perspective.
